To foster a safety culture in India, there is an urgent need to establish a dedicated training academy aimed at producing at least 100,000 Safety Engineers within five years. Chemical engineers with a software background will be trained on 2D/3D software for advanced safety studies. The academy will also collaborate with IIT (Roorkee) to offer six-month and oneyear safety diploma programs. Additionally, it will undertake sponsored R&D projects in safety, supporting candidates pursuing PhDs in the field.
